One time, he passed out drunk at a party and I drew all over his face with eyeliner. When he awoke, he was gunning for me but I was long gone. Another time, a group of L.A. punks had made a road trip to San Diego to see the Middle Class play. While we were there, we went across the Mexican border into Tijuana. Black Randy disappeared for a short time and then showed up before we headed back to the States, claiming that he had been at a "donkey show". As we were in the line of autos waiting to cross the border back into the U.S., we noticed that Randy kept nodding off and we asked him where he had really been. He opened the glove compartment to reveal a stash of heroin. There was no way we could get rid of it and no way to turn around. We had to go through with the contraband. That was typical Black Randy." |
