We think this clipping is from 1976. Venus and the Razor Blades was Kim Fowley's post-Runaways
project. Both Patricia and Alice auditioned for this band. Patricia is standing second from the left and
Alice is at the top right. Rodney Bingenheimer is standing near the middle, dressed in white and the tall
man at the very rear is Kim Fowley.
Alice: "Kim auditioned guys later. I think he originally wanted an all-girl band, but he didn't find what he
was looking for. Patricia and I met some other female musicians and decided to form our own all-girl
band, coincidentally it was going to be called Masque Era. Of course, the name had nothing to do with
the Masque, which didn't even exist yet."
